Our group currently facilitates an online dementia/Alzheimer's caregiver support group by Zoom. Our group leader has an MS in Counseling and trained with the Alzheimer's Association in facilitating a support group, along with mediation and facilitation training from the State of Kansas and national conflict resolution organizations.

Our in-person dementia/Alzheimer's caregiver support group meets in the Education Room at Hays Med's The Center for Health Improvement (CHI), 2500 Canterbury, Hays, KS. Our group leader is a Licensed Bachelor Social Worker, a care coordinator and has extensive dementia continuing education, along with previously being a Dementia Practitioner.
CHI has a special option for our participating caregivers and their loved one. For a fee of $5.00 per day or a 12 Day Therapeutic Pass for $55, The Center offers a guided physical activity for their loved one while the support group is in session. If interested in this program, please contact us one week prior to the date of the monthly support group.
